The Honda West sales department is open with reduced capacity during the COVID-19 outbreak. We understand that even if customers need or want to purchase a new car at this time, they might be wary of coming into the dealership. In our effort to be a part of the solution to the much larger problem, we have vastly stepped up our already extensive normal sanitation efforts to match and exceed the guidelines set out by Alberta Health. These measures take the form of both increased disinfecting and hygiene measures, as well as strict social distancing policies that limit close personal interaction to a minimum.

For those who really would prefer to not have to enter the dealership, our Buy Online capability has been enhanced. Customers can complete almost the entire sales process online and we can even deliver a test drive unit to your door. All test drive units will be thoroughly disinfected before and after any customer interaction.

Social Distancing in the Dealership

Within the sales department, we are taking measures consistent with what we’ve previously disclosed in the service department. Social distancing precautions will be in place that will mean sales staff keeping a six-foot distance from customers. The sales section of the dealership will be thoroughly disinfected throughout the day and major touch points on all cars will be disinfected multiple times daily, especially before and after direct customer interaction. In addition, covers will be placed over steering wheels prior to customer interaction, discarded and changed for each customer.
