What is it?
It is an opportunity for you to determine whether you can lower your monthly driving costs, turn your car into cash, or just find a more suitable vehicle for your driving needs by providing us with some basic information. All information with be kept in strict confidence in adherence to the Privacy Act.
How do you determine whether you can help me?
After completing the information below, we will analyze your cost of driving, the equity that you may have in your present vehicle, and some alternatives if you were to trade in your present vehicle. If our analysis indicates that we may be able to help, we will contact you via e-mail with some options and ask to set up an appointment.
What does this cost?
Nothing. Regardless of whether we are able to develop some options for you or not, the only thing we ask is some basic information regarding what you are driving now, what you owe, your monthly payments, and what your driving requirements are.
Who will be looking at my information and making the assessment?
At this stage only our Management team in conjunction with our Financial Services representatives will review your information and make recommendations. A salesperson will only be involved if you decide to take a closer look at a vehicle and you require specific product information.
Can you give me some examples as to how you might help?
Sure. Here are several examples of how we have helped customers.
- A customer had chosen a short term 36 month loan on a Honda Accord because they could afford the higher payment. Their circumstances changed and they were having trouble with the higher payment. We traded them out of their Accord, put them into a brand new 2009 Honda CR-V on a longer term. As a result, we were able to put them into a vehicle that was better suited to their needs, had a full warranty, and lowered their monthly payment by over $100/month.
- Another customer had paid cash for a new Honda Civic two years ago. Their financial situation had changed and they needed access to some cash. They traded in their 07 Civic on a new 09 Civic using part of their equity as a down payment. They ended up with a monthly payment that they could handle and we issued them a cheque for $10,000 to address some of their pressing financial needs.
- A third customer was driving a 2004 Honda Odyssey on a 48 month lease. Their kids had gotten older and they no longer needed the versatility or passenger capacity of a minivan but still had several months remaining on their lease. We were able to terminate their lease early and get them into a new lease on a Honda Accord that lowered their monthly payment and their cost of driving due to lower fuel and maintenance/repair costs.
